XIII- Jesus is taken down from the cross and laid in Mary’s Arms. Jesus, how brutally you were put to death. How gently you are taken from the cross. Your suffering and pain are ended, and you are put in the lap of your Mother.
Mary remembered holding Jesus as a baby, fleeing from Hera to protect him. She has faith in the angel that said her son will save his people. Sorrowful Mother be with us at the hour of our death.
